My UK Film Council short ‘Silent Things’ has been completed. The cast included Georgia Groome (star of London to Brighton), Antonia Campbell-Hughes (Bright Star) and Andrew Scott (Olivier award winner, Band of Brothers).

'Echoes' screened in competition at Brest European Short Film Festival and Leeds.

'Echoes' screens in Official Selection at Raindance Film Festival. The film also won an award at Branchage Jersey Film Festival where the jury included Gilles Mackinnon.

Rob Brown is an award winning director whose work has been screened at Edinburgh International Film Festival and broadcast on BBC TV. His award nominations include ‘European Competition’ at Brest European Short Film Festival, ‘Best Newcomer’ at Rushes Soho Shorts and the BBC New Filmmakers Award.. Rob was selected for the Berlinale Talent Campus in 2007. He was also chosen for the Edinburgh Film Festival ‘Trailblazers’ and British Film Institute ‘Think Shoot Distribute’ programmes in 2008.
Current projects include a 35mm short in pre-production and development of three feature films – “3 Miles to Nottingham”, “Path of Needles” and “Sixteen”.
“Path of Needles” recently received a performed reading at the ICA where the lead roles were played by Georgia Groome (London to Brighton / Angus, thongs & perfect snogging) and Christopher Simpson (Brick Lane, Mischief Night).
